For Apave, an exemplary project is one that demonstrates economic and regulatory robustness while providing a concrete response to environmental, social and territorial requirements.
The main evaluation criteria are as follows:
- Proven feasibility: obtaining authorisations, economic balance, marketing
- Reduced carbon impact, through the use of geo- or bio-based materials and reuse
- Consistency of use with the territory, incorporating anticipation or reversibility mechanisms
- A clear social commitment: integration, transparency, support for the public concerned.

Corporate Social Responsibility (CSR) is a company's responsibility for the impact of its decisions and activities on society and the environment, resulting in transparent and ethical behaviour that:
- Contributes to sustainable development, including the health and well-being of society
- Takes into account the expectations of stakeholders
- Complies with applicable laws and is compatible with international standards
- Is integrated throughout the organisation and implemented in its relationships
Applications - reserved for FPI members - are now open:
In order to define the scope of its social responsibility, identify relevant areas for action and set priorities, a company should address the following ‘core issues’:
- Organisational governance
- Human rights
- Employment practices and working conditions
- The environment
- Fair operating practices
- Consumer issues
- Community involvement and development.
As a major player in the economy, cities and construction, property developers are necessarily concerned by this approach.
By awarding the FPI Pyramid for responsible operations, Apave wishes to recognise the commitment of FPI members who have adopted responsible behaviour that contributes to sustainable development in a property development project.
Organised since 2004, the FPI Pyramids competition recognises the finest examples of residential and commercial property projects throughout France. The Pyramides recognise projects and achievements that are exemplary in terms of architecture, integration of the programme into its environment and the comfort of the housing offered. Apave, a partner since 2014, awards the Prize for Responsible Conduct of Operations. Take a look back at the latest editions !
