Apave awarded the Responsible Operations Prize at the Pyramides d'Or competition 2023 organised by the Fédération des Promoteurs Immobiliers (French Federation of Property Developers)

Organised since 2004, the FPI's Pyramides competition showcases the finest examples of residential and commercial property development throughout France. The Pyramides are awarded to projects and developments that are exemplary in terms of their architecture, the way they blend into their surroundings and the comfort of the accommodation provided. Apave, a partner since 2014, presents the Responsible Operations Award.

This year's winner is Pierre Passion for its "Vert chez soi" programme in Toulouse (31). Project manager: GGR Architectes.

 

Laurent Cascail Sales Director Apave Infrastructures et Construction France presented the award to Laëtitia Vidal Managing Director - Pierre Passion.

 

Some of the programme's features: 42 homes in 3 buildings, 68% of which are walk-through, a project that will be certified NF HQE 7* and Effinature, creation of a 400m² forest and a shared garden, management and recovery of 90% of site waste, preservation of biodiversity, etc.

 

The other two finalists were :

  • Sogeprom for its Bel Horizon programme in Saint-Raphaël (83). Project manager: Cabinet Artech
  • Ataraxia for its Villa des Lys development in Fondettes (37). Project manager: Atelier d'Architecture Blanchet-Feray

With this award, the Apave Group is recognising players who have taken a responsible approach to property development, whatever the programme - commercial or residential, new build or refurbishment.
Incorporating CSR into property development programmes is a key priority for the profession, which plays a vital role in meeting the challenge of reducing the carbon footprint of buildings.


The Pyramid for Responsible Operations rewards the project that particularly integrates the following criteria:

  • Social commitment
  • Stakeholder relations

We'll be keeping a close eye on how materials are used to minimise carbon impact, how waste reuse and recycling are integrated into the project, and how use has been thought out in the light of local issues, because the profession has a major role to play in reducing France's carbon footprint.
