Transfer of Cofrac accreditation for CE marking and the Transport of Dangerous Goods

In order to develop our international offering, the accreditations and notifications held by Apave Exploitation France SAS have been transferred to Apave SA, for CE marking and TDG (Transport of Dangerous Goods) activities.

The inspection activities concerned by this transfer are :

  • EC type-examination Machine Directive
  • EU Type Examination, Unit Verification of Conformity, Final Conformity Check Lift Directive
  • Conformity assessment of new pressure equipment, assemblies and simple pressure vessels, transportable pressure equipment
  • Transport of dangerous goods, including containers
  • Welding: Qualification of operating procedures and qualification of welders

Specifically, and only for the inspection activities concerned:

  • The new Cofrac Inspection accreditation number 3-2304 replaces number 3-2016, but the Notified Body number remains unchanged at 0082 (Scope and sites covered by Cofrac accreditation: www.cofrac.fr).
  • The accredited and notified body is Apave SA (and no longer Apave Exploitation France SAS).
