The creation of T9 and T10 lines projects is part of a global approach to territorial optimization in the Lyon urban area. The T9 line aims to link Villeurbanne and Vaulx-en-Velin. The main objective of T10 line is to link Vénissieux, Saint-Fons and the area of Gerland (city of Lyon). The challenges of these 2 operations are to optimize time of travel for users, to improve access to main public transport lines and to developping underserved areas. The construction work is expected to start in 2023 and commissioning is planned for 2026.
