Apave recognised for its expertise and obtains ISO 19443 certification

10/21/2024
The Apave Group has just obtained ISO 19443 certification, an international industry standard designed to enhance safety and control quality throughout the nuclear supply chain. This is a major recognition for the company and confirms its recognised expertise in the nuclear sector.

The nuclear sector, a major sector of French and global industry, requires a strict framework because of the level of risk involved. With more than 700 nuclear technical experts and engineers, Apave, an independent third-party organisation, supports the major players in the sector throughout the life cycle of nuclear facilities.

Obtaining ISO 19443 certification confirms Apave's mastery of all nuclear requirements, with a high level of quality and safety.

This certification covers our technical support and second-party inspection services for new equipment intended for IPSN nuclear applications, carried out by our nuclear operating divisions in Lyon, Pertuis and Rouen, as well as our subsidiary A2i (Apave Interservice Inspection).

‘This certification confirms our company's high level of quality rigour, its organisation to combat CFSI and its first-rate approach to safety,’ says Philippe Tollini, Director of Development for the Group's nuclear activities.
