Petit Forestier

Managing carbon complexity for an international fleet

As the European leader in refrigerated rentals, the Petit Forestier Group has relied on Aktio’s expertise since 2021 to structure the carbon management of thousands of assets across 24 countries.
The support is based on two complementary pillars:
- A digital platform capable of consolidating data from multiple countries and entities;
- Expert support to ensure the reliability of calculations and progressively improve the Group’s carbon maturity.
This approach provides Petit Forestier with a comprehensive overview of its carbon footprint, enabling it to effectively manage its decarbonisation pathway.

What we appreciated most was Aktio’s ability to adapt to our organisation. The platform is powerful enough without being too cumbersome to update. And above all, we know we can rely on experts when we need them.

Albertazzi

Professionalising sustainable procurement

A specialist in water and sanitation piping installation, Albertazzi engaged Aktio to conduct a structured transformation of its procurement function, fully integrating sustainability issues into its operational decisions.
The assignment was structured around three stages:
- Diagnostic and risk mapping across all procurement categories;
- Definition of a sustainable procurement policy and a supplier charter;
- Integration of CSR criteria into supplier qualification and evaluation tools.
This approach has strengthened risk management, initiated a total cost of ownership (TCO) approach, and integrated carbon emission reduction criteria into purchasing decisions.

A pragmatic approach to structure our procurement and strengthen our CSR commitments without adding complexity to our practices.

Bordeaux Métropole

Securing urban transformation through environmental risk management

As a trusted partner of Bordeaux Métropole, Apave deploys its expertise in contaminated site and soil management to support the city's transformation.
Through technical support assignments and environmental analyses, our experts secure major projects that place nature and public health at the heart of daily life for Bordeaux residents. Three flagship projects were conducted in 2025.
- Les Cours Buissonnières: soil and ambient air diagnostics before the greening of school playgrounds, ensuring health and safety for young children.
- Family Gardens: analysis of vegetable garden soil and vulnerability studies to prevent any transfer of pollution to plants and ensure the safe use of cultivated plots.
- Lakefront Development: Rigorous monitoring of surface water and sediment quality through monthly sampling campaigns to preserve biodiversity and water resources.

For nearly ten years, the City of Bordeaux and Bordeaux Métropole have relied on Apave for services related to contaminated land and brownfield sites as part of our urban development projects. The expertise of the Apave teams, combined with their understanding of complex urban environments, enables us to safeguard our projects through their rigorous approach to managing health and environmental risks. Beyond the technical quality of their studies, we particularly value the clarity of their analysis and their educational approach; this makes it easier to understand contaminated land issues and effectively supports our project managers in their decision-making. This long-term partnership provides reliable support for the delivery of our operations.

This partnership allows us to evolve together in a win-win logic, with the sole guiding principle of 'producing safety' in the service of State aviation.

Complementary expertise driving compliance

As part of its mission, the Direction de la Sécurité Aéronautique d'État (DSAÉ - State Aviation Safety Directorate) relies on the expertise of Apave Aeroservices to optimise the oversight of its ecosystem (armed forces, gendarmerie, and customs). This is achieved by delegating audits of approved organisations and airworthiness reviews, particularly for light aircraft and overseas missions.
This synergy allows the safety authority to concentrate its resources on the most complex operational challenges, while ensuring a high level of technical rigour across the delegated perimeters.

Lidl

Promoting biodiversity in real estate projects

A major player in large-scale retail, Lidl France places corporate social responsibility at the heart of its strategy. For its real estate projects, the brand wanted to structure and gain recognition for its biodiversity actions at its points of sale. The Apave Certification teams supported Lidl in obtaining the Signature Biodiversité Label, a demanding standard that evaluates how living ecosystems are considered at every stage of a building's life cycle.
The support involved:
- On-site analysis of outdoor space management (soil permeability, wildlife-friendly landscaping);
- Verification of plant choices (local species favourable to biodiversity);
- Evaluation of awareness actions conducted with employees and customers.
This process allowed Lidl to obtain the label for two pilot stores and lay the groundwork for a wider rollout.
