By combining perspectives from the business world, the public sector, and human sciences, this conference will explore how individual and collective memory can become the primary lever for resilience, adaptation, and action in the face of upcoming climate crises.

 

11:45 AM to 12:30 PM - Solution workshop “Scope 3: What if your suppliers became your best action lever?”

It is the blind spot of many climate strategies and the major challenge of all CSR approaches: most of a company's stakes lie not within its walls, but throughout its supply chain. Engaging your suppliers means taking control of one of the most powerful action levers at your disposal.

To guide you, Hélène Matheron (Head of CSR Performance Unit at Aktio - Apave Group) and Marc-Antoine Horenfeld (Head of CSR France) join forces to deliver the keys to a successful sustainable procurement strategy. Built around a concrete case study, this workshop reveals the step-by-step method to structure your approach, from risk mapping to supplier qualification, in order to transform commercial relationships into a real lever of resilience. 2:15 PM to 3:30 PM - Panel discussion “Designing without waste: Utopia or industrial future?”

The ambition of zero waste calls for a redesign of design processes. It is both the ambition of perfect resource optimization and a real large-scale technological challenge. Is this aspiration compatible with current industrial realities? Eco-design, reuse, advanced recycling: the technologies exist, but economic models do not always keep pace. Eco-design is advancing, recycling technologies are improving, and circular models are developing. Yet, waste production remains massive, and the impacts on populations and territories are unequal. Is zero waste achievable on an industrial scale, or will it remain a partial ambition? This debate questions the very foundations of our production systems: designing differently means rethinking materials, our practices, and economic models. Cultivating balance here means reconciling resource sobriety, innovation, and economic viability.

+4°C in France by the end of the century: it is no longer a scenario, it is a trajectory. Is your company ready?

Forget the traditional lecture. For 30 minutes, Romain Lafay and Bastien Lamouche, Climate Experts at Aktio (Apave Group), invite you to this resolutely hybrid format where theory meets gaming. For the duration of this workshop, you will project yourself into 2050: at each step, a question is addressed to you before the experts provide you with keys to understanding and adaptation, backed by examples and data. 11:45 AM to 12:30 PM - Solution workshop “How much does a frog cost your project? The price of biodiversity.”

The question seems harmless, almost incongruous. And yet: how much will the amphibian you didn't see today cost you tomorrow? Too often, biodiversity is perceived as a constraint: an extra cost, a box to check. Victor Danieau and Nicolas Piquereau, Biodiversity Experts at Aktio (Apave Group), invite you to flip the perspective: the real question isn't how much it costs to look, but how much it costs not to look.

Based on a concrete development project case study, you will step into the shoes of the project owner and decide: go, no-go, adaptation, or further investigation? You will identify major risks and arbitrate them against a decisive triptych: risk, cost, timeline.
