International development: the Apave Group announces the acquisition of Tecno Piemonte in Italy

The acquisition of Tecno Piemonte is part of Apave’s 2025 strategic plan which aims to accelerate the Group’s international development through a sustained external growth dynamic. This acquisition will strengthen Apave’s presence in Italy and allow it to position itself in the Infrastructure & Construction sector, a sector in which the Group intends to become a leading player.

Apave and Tecno Piemonte, both recognised players in the growing TIC (Test, Inspection, Certification) market, will combine their experiences, know-how, accreditations, and specific geographic positions to support their clients in the field of construction, whose needs and challenges in terms of risk management are significant. This acquisition will enable Apave to accompany the implementation of the “Infrastructure” recovery plan established by the Italian government.

Based in Lenta, in the vicinity of Milan, Tecno Piemonte has a testing and analysis laboratory for construction materials. From its first years of operation, this laboratory has held ministerial authorisations for the execution and certification of tests to determine the quality of concrete, steel, bricks, hydraulic binders and wood, as well as land and rocks. In addition to tests, Tecno Piemonte also carries out inspections and trainings for its clients.
