Sustainable support for Cogedim in obtaining NF Habitat certification from Cerqual

Cogedim, which is committed to an eco-responsible approach, has chosen to obtain NF Habitat certification for all its homes and NF Habitat HQE certification for 25% of its projects.

Apave is helping France's leading property developer to obtain this certification at every stage of its construction projects.
Thierry Chambragne, Technical Director of Cogedim Région Provence, explains.

To reduce and control the environmental impact of construction and renovation projects, the building sector is increasingly committed to environmental quality. Cogedim, a brand of the Altarea Group, is paying particular attention to the environmental transition, as part of a more global CSR strategy.

"Cogedim immediately embarked on an environmental certification process, with the aim of designing buildings that have a minimal environmental impact over the long term," says Thierry Chambragne, Technical Director of Cogedim Région Provence.

There are an increasing number of environmental certifications and labels that meet very specific criteria.  Cogedim has chosen NF Habitat - NF Habitat HQE certification issued by CERQUAL Qualitel Certification. "For us, this certification is structured and comprehensive, and it incorporates the eco-responsible construction criteria that we want to follow," says Thierry Chambragne.

A Day-to-day

support

"Our business is to find land, design projects, submit building permits, market them and build them".
With regard to obtaining environmental certification, Cogedim has expressed a need for personalised support from the design phase, before planning permission applications are submitted.
"We wanted to have a solid expert on our side in this constantly evolving field," explains Mr Chambragne.

The Apave group is working with Cogedim on a daily basis to decipher the requirements of the regulations, provide advice throughout the life cycle of the project and pass on the right reflexes to the Cogedim teams.

This comprehensive support is present at all key phases of the project to ensure compliance with NF Habitat & NF Habitat HQE obligations. "Anticipation and proactivity are the keys to success in an environmental certification process," says Mr Chambragne. The Apave group is continuing its role as a trusted third party for Cogedim, acting as an independent third party with no involvement in the design of the buildings.

NF Habitat & NF Habitat HQE

respect for the environment and quality of life

NF Habitat - NF Habitat HQE certification, issued by CERQUAL Qualitel Certification, covers both new and renovated residential buildings. It is based on the main principles of sustainable development and includes specific requirements in terms of occupant comfort, low environmental impact site supervision and functionality of the premises.
"Today, all Cogedim housing developments are delivered with NF Habitat or NF Habitat HQE certification," adds Thierry Chambragne.

In addition to this certification, Cogedim applies a commitment charter to its housing that covers 10 points impacting both the environment and occupant comfort. "For example, improving air quality through better ventilation, planting outdoor areas, contacting an ecologist to protect biodiversity, and encouraging green mobility by providing bicycle storage facilities with equipment supplied on delivery," adds Thierry Chambragne.

A trusted partner

"We have several dozen projects underway with the Apave group: Marseille Verdillon, Le Pontet "Reflets de Provence", Cavaillon "Esprit Luberon", Arles Vissac, Aix la Duranne "Domaine Authentique", Le Lavandou "Pavillon Ravello". We appreciate the human relationships we've built up over the years, the consultants' in-depth expertise, the way they listen to us on a daily basis, the way they take our specific needs into account, their responsiveness and anticipation. A truly trusted partner! "Thierry Chambragne concludes.
