MADAGASCAR – LOGISTIQUE PETROLIERE
Logistique Pétrolière was hired to build an oil terminal and related technical and administrative infrastructure for the QMM mining project (ilmenite extraction). The company contracted with Apave’s local subsidiary, Apave Madagascar, to inspect all its construction work.
Design validation and construction inspection of the work item for civil engineering, electric power, fire safety, metal construction and painting.
Apave Madagascar assembled a team composed of a civil engineer, NDT inspector, electrician and fire prevention/safety inspector to inspect the new oil terminal. This was the second oil terminal inspection that Apave Madagascar conducted; the first was the Jovenna terminal at the Tamatave site for a Dynatec mining project.
